The Amalfi Coast which stretches from Sorrento to Salerno has the reputation of being one of the most beautiful coasts in Europe. The narrow road winds along the coast between steep mountains on one side and crystal clear sea on the other. All along this road you will find small picturesque villages perched on the edge of the cliff, and above all you will face breathtaking landscapes. North of Sorrento you will find the Bay of Naples, Pompeii and the famous Vesuvius.
Advice : In July and August, expect traffic jams along the coast, the road being narrow and winding, and the tourists very numerous.
Brittany is a region that attracts many tourists, for its grandiose and perfectly preserved landscapes, and for its proudly affirmed culture and traditions. In the very west of Brittany is the most preserved department of the region, Finistère. Start from Roscoff in the north and follow the coast towards the west and the most western point of France. You will arrive at the city of Brest, a military port whose city is not too interesting but whose surroundings are worth the detour and in particular the Crozon Peninsula.
A road trip in a van to discover Scotland is above all to discover magical landscapes, lakes as far as the eye can see and castles every 3 kilometres. The west coast of the Highlands is probably the best way to experience the real Scotland. Start from the south where you can discover deep fjords to go north and its great wilderness. Advice : Going in a converted van is probably the best way to discover Finland, it is possible to stop where you want, or to choose to spend the night in a dedicated camping area.
